The new T5 Utility tractors from New Holland cover the multi-purpose tractor segment from 80hp to 120hp. They feature a new and improved four-cylinder engine with an increased displacement of 3.6 litres that delivers higher power and torque. In addition, the maximum torque is now attained at just 1,300rpm, improving the engine’s transient response.
Stage V compliance is ensured by the patented Compact HI-eSCR2 solution developed by FPT Industrial. This system integrates a diesel oxidation catalyst (DOC), a particulate filtration system and selective catalytic reduction (SCR) in a single element. Low-rate exhaust gas recirculation (SCR) of less than 10 per cent allows for optimised combustion and small SCR dimensions. All the after-treatment components are enclosed in a single and compact package positioned under the tractor’s hood, ensuring excellent visibility and manoeuvrability. The Compact HI-eSCR2 is maintenance free; it requires no replacement of components or mechanical cleaning during the whole tractor lifecycle.
There is also an improved hydraulic and electrical system that provides easy access to all service points, including engine filters, on the same side of the tractor, resulting in better and faster serviceability.
The new T5 Utility range delivers the greater increase in performance in Stage V, with 5hp more and an extra 10 per cent of torque with max torque achieved at a lower rpm. It offers superior comfort for the operator with the spacious VisionView cab. The ample glass surface and slim pillar frame ensure excellent visibility, while the wide roof hatch offers a clear view of the loader in its raised position. The intuitive, ergonomically laid out controls add to the operator’s comfort and reduce fatigue on long working days.
The T5 is the ideal tractor for intensive loader job thanks to the Class 1.5 large front axle that provides greater load carrying capacity and the wider rear trumpet that enhances stability in loader operation. The advanced joystick with dual command switch and third, fourth and fifth front loader function, and declutch function, puts the driver in full control when operating the front loader.
The T5 tractors have an impressive rear lift capacity of up to 4,400kg, while the three-speed PTO featuring ECO and ground speed delivers excellent versatility and fuel efficiency. Fuel tank capacity has been increased to 174 litres, extending working hours without refuelling.
The three models in the range – with 101hp, 110hp and 117hp –feature the well-known semi powershift Electro Command transmission with four steps and 16 forward/16 reverse gears. This offers clutchless gear changes to reduce operator fatigue with the optional Auto Mode that enables an automatic gear shifting function.
The T5 Electro Command also benefits from New Holland’s renowned Terraglide front-axle suspension that helps deliver a silky-smooth ride on the roughest terrains. When paired with the Comfort Ride cab suspension, it reduces vibrations so that operators can enjoy a full day’s work with less fatigue.
The spacious VisionView cab provides excellent all-round panoramic visibility. The same operation efficiency is guaranteed at night and in low-light conditions with the 360-degree LED lighting package.
Ideal for mixed and livestock dairy farmers, the compact and manoeuvrable multi-purpose T5 Electro Command is available with the wide frame 700TL series front loaders that provide higher stability, even when working with the heaviest loads at maximum extension. A separate 80 lit/min hydraulic pump combined with the advanced electrohydraulic joystick located on the armrest, ensure perfect loader operation and transmission control for effortless up- and down-shifting.
